Sōzanshō
蘇山荘
Sōzanshō is a purely Japanese-style café adjoining Tokugawaen. It is next to the entrance on the Kuromon side, so it can be used without entering Tokugawaen. The main offering is tea, and review comments say the tasting set lets you enjoy the differences in aroma and flavor. Tea sweets are also included, and because the staff provide explanations and guidance, you can enjoy it at a relaxed pace. Another attraction is being able to spend time leisurely while looking out over the garden. The view from the large windows and the quiet Japanese-style space create a moment that lets you "enjoy time." The food menu is limited, but the café menu is said to be extensive. Guests also say the service is polite and kind.
